Living and working in London for over 15 years in the Educational and Voluntary sectors, Marcella's journey in holistic health culture, psychology, and related areas spans more than two decades, both in the UK and abroad. Her professional journey began in Germany with project management roles in internationally operating companies, which provided her a solid foundation in strategic thinking and effective execution. However, Marcella's true passion lies in the realm of holistic well-being and mental health, following her personal interests in how to use creative expression and processes to improve mental health and wellbeing. With several years of training in Systemic Counselling, Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Stress Management, Hypnotherapy, and Life Coaching, her multidisciplinary skill set allows her to approach mental well-being from various angles, and to develop client-centred services having the mental wellbeing of the individual and the community at heart." Jackie Lander

Director

Jackie Lander brings a wealth of experience to her role as Director of Avanti Mental Well- Being CIC. With a background in education, Jackie served in administrative and pastoral roles for secondary school students from years 8-11. During this time, she received counselling training that sparked an interest in psychology.Eager to make a difference, Jackie began volunteering in the voluntary sector with adults, this then led onto a peer support volunteer role for Avanti, where she played an integral role in developing ideas for Avanti's weekly activities. Jackie's passion for mental health and genuine care for others make her an invaluable leader as Avanti continues to provide critical services to the community.Her insight and dedication empower Avanti to create an inclusive, compassionate environment for all.

Will Hudson

Will Hudson is a theatre-maker and facilitator with 20 years experience in the creative industries, and with a focus on theatre for social change and mental wellbeing. He is a doctoral candidate at the University of Surrey, wit his focus on theatre as a therapeutic language to explore masculinity and male mental health. He is also in training as a transpersonal therapist at The Psychosynthesis Trust.




Helen Karelis

Helen Karelis, BMus, LTCM, LTCL, is a dedicated music educator with a passion for working with vulnerable individuals. With extensive training in music and teaching, including a BMus degree and LTCL in Instrumental Teaching, Helen has a proven track record of success in both school and community settings. Recognized as Music Teacher of the Year in 2006, Helen's commitment to making music accessible to all stems from her belief in its therapeutic benefits. She has a wealth of experience in facilitating positive outcomes for students, fostering a more positive outlook on life through music. Helen's expertise extends to private instrumental lessons and leadership roles within music education organizations, where she continues to make a meaningful impact. She also runs her own publishing company, focusing on music education resources.
