Life After Caring is a 1-year recovery programme for carers and former carers in Merton who are living with bereavement, grief, or the emotional impact of a caring role ending.
Co-facilitated by Avanti Mental Wellbeing CIC and Life Enrichment, the programme offers a supportive, trauma-informed space for people navigating loss, changes in identity after caring, and the transition into life after caring.
Led by experienced practitioners, sessions provide a safe and welcoming group environment with shared support, creative and reflective approaches, and future-focused guidance.
The programme begins on Thursday 5th March 2026, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, at Avanti Activity Space, Vestry Hall, London Road, CR4 3UD, with weekly sessions for 6 weeks followed by monthly support groups (every 1st Thursday).
